Cíclico

Cíclico is a Colombian circular fashion brand that challenges the way clothing is made, consumed, and valued. By focusing on resale, repair, and reuse, the brand extends the life of garments and reduces textile waste. 

As the brand grew, Cíclico pursued B Corp certification not as a label, but as a way to formalize its impact and align internal practices with values already at its core.

The Challenge

The challenge was to translate deeply held values and intuitive practices into a structured, measurable strategy. Preserving the brand’s authenticity and flexibility was essential. The process also needed to lay the groundwork for long-term sustainability and B Corp certification.

  • Developed a three-phase process covering diagnosis, design, and preparation for certification.

  • Analyzed the institutional and operational model to identify sustainable practices and opportunities for formalization.

  • Defined internal policies and impact metrics, and organized documentation for the B Impact Assessment.

  • Designed a donations strategy aligned with the brand’s purpose.

  • Supported the submission process with Sistema B Colombia and B Lab Global, strengthening Cíclico’s impact narrative.

Outcome

The Cíclico case demonstrates that structuring impact does not reduce adaptability; it reinforces purpose. Pursuing B Corp certification turned intuitive practices into intentional decisions and laid a solid foundation for the brand’s future growth.
